It truly whet my appetite for a longer BLACK lace jumper/cardigan!

I do still knit punk things...
I do knit things that are punk sometimes... I have been on this christmas stocking thing - and I am now 5 stockings into the 11 that I would like to get done (8 super-size people stockings, two dog stockings and this one...). Not sure what this is for - right now the joke is that its my second stocking, since mr.sunneshine was pretty firm that this couldn't be my real stocking. So I made this one smaller - wrote the fair isle to make sure the skulls didn't look too cute - and whipped it up in three days (all weaving and blocking will be done in one boring continuous session). Its a little off center and wonky, but I am happy! More info on my blog - and a scale photo with the other "Stockings that Ate Christmas"!

WBBSJ!!!!!!!!!!!
I forgot to show show you guys this!!!! The Baby Surprise Jacket: Another Elizabeth Zimmermann Masterpiece!!! All the knitting specs are on my blog>.
The tiny baby brooch is made from quilting yo-yo (from a how-to I found in an old photocopied zine) and the center is a fabric covered button. I just learned how to make them and I'm kind of obsessed.
I really really want to make the Adult Surprise Jacket, but I've got to figure out how to skinny up those arm first.
Pssst.....

Finished stuff
Nangellini
I was walking down South Street in Philly with my old roommate the other night and stumbled across a store featuring "Stango Paintings" in the windows. We decided to go in and check out the pop art and much to my suprise I found out that the store was also filled with fabulous yarn!! My friend must have thought I was crazy by my newfound excitement, but I was in yarn heaven! The store had very unique yarn that is definately not available at your typical craft store such as hand painted, kettle dyed, and all different fibers and brilliant colors. There was so much to choose from that I couldn't make up my mind what to get...but anyhow, if your in Philly you definately need to it check out http://www.nangellini.com/ I will definatley be going back to indulge this week!!

Heads!
Check out these heads I found in a Hippie shop. They are small skulls of many different faces, stuffed and hanging on key rings. They were charging Heaps for them so I've decided to give making them a try. I havent started yet as I need to get some fabric but when I get one done I'll definately post a piccy.
The shop also had heaps of other punk items, like punk dolls (not for children), jewellery, clothing, objects for the home. I am definately going back there during the next holidays.

A new Web Log
I started a New Web Log named after the old uKnitted Nations. This should be entertaining to have this set up like a blog.
This is the link:
If you are interested in joining me email me at zeeppo_the_great@yahoo.com.
On another front I have decided to start interviewing people on my blog. I am looking for a standard set of questions that I should ask people. If you have any suggestion post or email me.
Thank you all for your tolerance.

Not particularly punk--
but worth showing off anyway. This is my take on the Zodiac sleeper from Knitty. My friend isn't particularly into astrology, so I adapted a chart from Lucinda Guy's And So to Bed ... for the sleepy face. I just hope it fits the little guy when he's born!

fingerless mitts
Using the amazing alpaka yarn I got from Ms.Pixieriot in PRGE mini, I knit those fingerless mitts and fell in love with the yarn. I never used alpaka before and can't believe how soft and warm it is and how easy to knit with. The mitts where finished in almost no time, now I just have to figure out what to do with the rest of yarn, perhaps a scarf or a hat matching the mitts...
Is this punk?
I'm knitting the "Police line do not cross" shawl for a Hallowe'en party. My friend is knitting it too and we are planning to go as a crime scene. We will make our knitted tape so that we can loosen ourselfs, because we are 2 beautiful single women, and you never know who we will meet, and they do say '3 is a crowd' *lol* So we''l be tied together the whole evening, as long as there is no nice single gentleman (dead or alive) walking by :-))

Swatch
I haven't posted here in eons. But my projects of late haven't been too punk. I a quite proud of this swatch, is the first fair isle design that I created from a drawing that I did in college. The colors are a little drab, but it worked :) I have two more original fair isle designs that I am working on - hopefully they will be swatched or knitted soon...

Come on and join, feel free to write in swedish (HAHAHAHA!) or english, or why don´t be wild and crazy - try swenglish! ;0D http://ribbedlacebolero.blogspot.com/
We start at autumnal equinox (23 september).

Punky dog patterns?
Hubby and I just got the cutest little puppy named Jack this last weekend. I want to knit him something punk rock-y but all the dog knitting patterns I'm finding are foo-foo. Anyone know of non-foo-foo dog patterns?

Cell Pocket
Just wanted to pop in and show you my latest piece: The Cell Pocket. It is knit with the yarn Karisma from Garnstudio and the pattern is inspired from the Manly Mitts from Knitty.com
HELP!
Hi there everybody! This is my first time posting. I'm a beginning knitter & I got a pattern from someones page for converse baby booties. I can't remember who I got it from & I'm having some trouble with it. I'm confused as to whether or not this is knit in one piece. Any help would be great! I've only knit scarves, hats, and shawls. So this is the most difficult piece I've done so far. Please Help! =-)

My First Sweater!
SQUEEEE!!!!! I'm so proud of the new addition to my wardrobe <3333
Pattern Particulars
Pattern Source: Seamless Raglan from Knitting Without Tears by Elizabeth Zimmermann
Needles: Clover Takumi 32" Circulars US sz. 8, Addi Natura 16" circulars US sz. 8
Materials: 5 skeins of Malabrigo Worsted Merino in Lettuce (from Misocrafty's de-stash) and one in Glazed Carrot (from Webs).
Time: I didn't actually time this project but I did start it in June.
Loved: the ease of the pattern and the perfect fit. Because EZ pretty much forces you to pay attention to the gauge, you shouldn't expect anything less.
Hated: nothing. I want to knit like, 300 sweaters now.
