Project Spectrum Sweater

I belong to Project Spectrum V.2. February & March are Blue, Gray and White months. So, I decided that I would make a sweater for the knit-along out of those colors and stash-bust at the same time. Here is the finished sweater, on me. I finally finished one of the LARGE projects that I have been working on for over a month. WOO HOO!

Well, there really is no pattern for this sweater. I used the calculations from The Knitter's Handy Book Of Sweater Patterns. I made the 46" chest measurement/size. (I am a 44" chest) The yarn I used was all leftovers from other projects. YAY on stashbusting! The lighter blue is LB Wool Ease in Blue Heather; 4 skeins. The darker blue is LB Wool Ease in Navy; 1 skein. The white/blue mix yarn is actually leftover Moda Dea Sassy Stripes in the color, Stormy. I used # 8 circular and Dpn's, throughout. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up with minimal finishing. I sewed the underarm holes and the loose strings. That's about it.

There is another picture of the sweater laying flat on my bed over at my personal blog. Okay, gotta run. Happy Knitting and have a great weekend, everyone!

That is so pretty, Lani! I especially like how the yoke looks like fair isle - really neat idea! Yay for stash busting, too (I SO need to do that.)

Have a great day! Hugs! :D
