Baby chic

This little sweater has been quite the struggle. Debbie Bliss Cashmerino from my stash...two balls of the dark and one of the light, in a discontinued color mind you. I was determined to use it for this sweater. I knit the body twice, reversing the colors the second time. And when it came down to it, I just didn't have enough to finish the lace trim on the sleeves (it should match the body lace) so I made up my own.

It is from Natural Knits for Babies and Moms. I'm becoming quite enamored of this yarn. Too bad it costs so much. The buttons are from my collection. I hope my friend and her little one likes it. Its a pattern I would definitely do again. Actually I'm planning on buying the book. So many cute things in there, and with just a color change quite gothy/punk too.

This is so beautiful! The colors are great! I'm not familiar with the original intended look of the pattern, but the color adaptations you made with the lace really work. You make me wanna buy the book too:)
