My Next Knitting Chart...

Guess Who?

I had planned to draw/sketch, this morning. So, rather than drawing this morning...Well, this is considered drawing, right? I used a pencil and knitting graph paper to create...a chart. This chart was made upon request. A fellow knit-blogger said she'd like ______ or David Bowie as a knitting chart. So, I broke out my pencil and got to work...It was a lot of fun.

This is a preliminary pencil sketch. It will take me a few days to transfer it to a digital image. I hand paint my charts in PSP 8 and it takes a while to do. So, what do you think? Not bad, I say.

So, any guesses on who this is?

NOPE, it's not Edward Scissorhands! LOL!

The reason I said "Nope, Not Edward Scissorhands." was my oldest daughter...She said the hair sort of looks like Edward Scissorhands. Plus, The Cure was before her time. I listen to The Cure ALL the time too.

Robert!!! Gotta love it, Kiss me kiss me was the first music cd i ever bought, when it first came out (that dates me a bit!) Our band plays a few cure covers...may have to try and knit something fun with this. So what are you making with it??? *smile*

Awesome. That's a really good likeness of Robert Smith, especially on a graph chart. No question at all.

I'm not a punk rocker, but happened to come across your blog. You're very talented. You can use cross stitch software to make fair isle and intarshia charts. Just adjust the size of the square into a rectangle and you're all set. Very fast and easy. I have a $30 cross stitch program (Pattern Master) that I just recently made a fair isle chart with 3 norwegian stars for the front panel of a purse and 3 butterflies for the back panel.

Cool blog you got here. I'd like to read a bit more concerning this topic. The only thing that blog misses is a few pictures of any devices.
