This sweater is what I have been occupied with for most of my evening. I was watching a movie and before I knew it, it was time to bind off the bottom body stitches. YAY! I now need to make some sleeves. It will have to wait in my knitting basket for a little while, first.
I have holiday and birthday knits to make first...my work is never done, it seems.
I have also been knitting on a pair of socks. These are going to be an Xmas gift for someone special. I knitted on the one sock a little bit this morning. These should be done soon and then I can share a progress photo before I wrap them up and send them to the recipient.
It's exausting to knit this time of year...I hope all of you are well.

Lana - you are amazing! all those knits -- you must be putting those knitting oompa loompas to work. Really everything looks great! I really love the socks!
I can't believe how much stuff you turn out! You have inspired me to try the top-down sweater knitting method. BTW - What size needles do you make your socks on?
I make my socks on dpn's that are anywhere from # 2's - # 6's. It depends on the yarn. I would say about 80% of my socks are knitted on # 4 needles, including the picture pair of socks. I prefer that size for the yanr I use lately.
You knit a sweater whle watching a MOVIE! That's it? And it wasn't the entire extended-versions of Lord of the Rings? Wow. I have something to strive for.
The socks are great. i love the colors.
I'm loving the sweater and those socks are great. Socks are my new favorite to keep on the needles. That and hats. Very gratifying when those other projects just keep going and going and going.....
Oh no, not the whole sweater was knitted during the movie. I just knitting the last 5 inches of the bottom/body during the movie.
