Knitting for Karma

Hey all.
My sister and I are trying to collect items for a pregnant girl we know. She's got no family support OR help from the child's father, and NOTHING for this baby.
So, if you've got any used baby items you could donate or feel up to some charity knitting, please let me know!
You can email me at tylerstar52[at]hotmail[dot]com.

For the record, this baby will be born in January, and is of currently undetermined sex. It is expected to be a rather small baby too. And she has nothing, really. Bibs, hats, socks, sweaters, onesies, washcloths, anything goes. ANYTHING would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I'll see what I can come up with...I have some knitted baby socks somewhere around here. I was supposed to send them to a pregnant family member...and her son is now almost 2. So, too small. I may even have time to whip up a hat, or something...I will email you, on what I find.

You should try looking around the city where you are located for something similar to a charity we have here in Pittsburgh. I forget what its called, but I know its run by volunteers and I think a church or three. It gives pregnant mommies maternity clothes, baby clothes, cribs, carseats, etc all for free. Its especially for women in your friend's position.

As my son is already 3, I don't have anything left for small babies... but I could donate a rainbow colored hat I have in my Etsy store right now... And if it is a bit similar to Germany, you should be able to find a charity or something organized by churched where you can get lots of help as a single mom...
I was in the same position 3 years ago and found out that everything went a lot better than I feared in the beginning
