Hiya!

Hello! I thought I'd finally post and say hi.. I've been lurking and reading for quite some time now. You guys are an awesome group of folks, glad to be a part of it!

Here I am hopping on the fingerless mitt bandwagon. Fetching is quite an addictive pattern. I can't wait to finish these and wear em out! More random knitting pics on my blog.

Welcome Stella,
You Fetching fingerless mitts are looking fab. Using double ended needles to make mitts and socks is starting to get the better of me can't seem to get the tension rite when going from one needle to the other. Any ideas?
I have had to put these mitts i am making down twice. GRRR.
Look forward to seeing your future projects.

I usually just give the first stitch on the new needle an extra tug to pull it a little tighter to make up for the space.. I do a lot of small projects, like these, and socks and hats, so I do a lot of knitting on DPN's. I'm not the quickest knitter, so big projects like sweaters make me crazy.. :)

Yeah if i am working on a big project i normally have to break it up with knitting smaller projects and i am determined not to let the good old DPN's get the better of me. But don't be suprised if you hear on the news that
"Local girl gone nuts done town today when DPN's sent her over the edge"
heheheh (Rolls eyes and sighs) sure if want come to that :o)
