I finally finished my lace shawl properly! Two weeks ago, I finished the knitting and wore it aroung for a while. Finally, last wednesday, I threaded the nylon cord through all the points and thursday, I blocked it. It does make such a difference!! The shawl grew at least three inches across and somewhere between 4 and 6" in length (sounds naughty.....) and the yarn plumped up and got really soft. It keeps snowing here in Denver, so I should have plenty of opportunity to wear it before the winter is over!Have a great week!

Really, really nice. I still haven't attempted a lace project yet. Not for not wanting, just haven't the opportunity yet. What a difference blocking makes though, eh? (Can ya tell I'm Canadian? LOL)
Would really like to see a pic of what it looks like worn. Perhaps you could post one on your blog soon?
